Our strategy
Our goal is the wellbeing of people – our in-depth research and painstaking development work are the way to get there. The task of researching and developing medicinal products and medical devices is highly complex and often takes a long time. For the various product groups, a wide range of development process steps, investigations, studies, and authorization procedures are required.
We sometimes go down unfamiliar routes to develop new medical devices. Whether age-old knowledge, alternative treatment concepts, or the latest pharmacology findings – we look in all directions for our research. Our holistic perspective and extensive knowledge of natural ingredients is our secret to innovative and very well-tolerated products.

Knowledge with tradition
Just as people are complex beings, so we draw our knowledge from the complexity of plants, and the active ingredients given to us by nature. We aspire to base our developments on concepts that already exist in nature. Therefore, our company's R&D work relies on age-old traditional knowledge in order to make this valuable lost resource available to people in new, optimized, and effective products.
Innovation
Our innovation concept is designed for developing health products with breakthrough potential by integrating in-house research; preclinical development, and external partners. The fusion of expertise and a keen focus on the efficacy and tolerability the products we develop, help us to realize our medical inventions.
Therapeutic areas
The current focus of our research is on dermatology and orthopedics. We already have successful products on the market for both therapeutic areas.
With our research and expertise in prevalent skin conditions, such as neurodermatitis and psoriasis, we have succeeded in developing an innovative product for long-term effective and well-tolerated treatment of psoriasis. Under the brand name Alnovat®, a completely new, natural cream is now available to psoriasis sufferers for the treatment of their condition.
Building on the special Alnovat formulation, future product lines will be developed for the treatment of other skin conditions such as neurodermatitis, lichen planus, eczema, and dermatitis.
To support natural bone formation, and as a supplement to a sensible diet, and to meet the body’s silica needs, we have developed a high-quality, innovative nutritional supplement that can help to combat the process of osteoporosis. It uses concentrated colloidal silicon dioxide (SiO2), a biologically active form of silicon, to meet the body’s silicon requirements.
We expect promising future research results in the field of neurology for multiple sclerosis and metabolic diseases, particularly type 2 diabetes.
Clinical studies
In several of the development phases, the reliability, effectiveness, and tolerability of our products are tested. This also includes clinical studies. In the last phase of our development process, we conduct clinical studies to confirm the action, efficacy, and tolerability of the products on actual patients.
These studies sometimes involve hundreds of patients and can last several years, depending on the indication being studied. As with approved products, the top priority is the safety of patients and study participants, so we work together with recognized experts from institutions around the world.
In the past, we have been able to rely on the experience and knowledge of renowned university hospitals and research institutions for the implementation and monitoring of our clinical studies.
